He also graduated from the Police Staff and Command of Northwestern University Center for Public Safety.  He is a veteran with 12 years of military service, including a tour in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in management from The Johns Hopkins University and an MBA from Strayer University. He has extensive supervisory and training experience in Commercial Vehicle Safety, Civil Disturbance, Critical Incident Stress Management, Quality Assurance, Coordination with Dispatchers, Fire and EMS and a whole host of other areas.
