OC Aerosol Training

Service Description

This four hour end-user level certification program focuses on the deployment, handling and documentation of the use of OC (oleoresin capsicum) chemical aerosols. This course will train private security officer in the use of aerosols tactics and will help protect both the officer as well as their company from costly litigation issues that could arise from the use of OC aerosol projectors. This program addresses proper deployment techniques, situational requirements and situational appropriateness of various projectors, defensive and retention contamination drills, decontamination, proper use-of-force reporting and operational guidelines. Students that complete the course will receive a certificate of completion which is valid for the period of time until such time as departmental policy requires a re-certification. Class Length: 2.0 hours classroom, 2.0 Hours hands on practical.
